Panaji, Nov 3: After a meeting with Goa BJP incharge Devendra Fadnavis, minister for science and technology Michael Lobo said that he is ready to quit BJP if the party does not want him.
Lobo also said that he alone can win six out of seven seats in Bardez. Lobo, who completes 15 years with BJP in December this year said that so far the party has not asked him to quit. However, he said he is ready and will join some other party.
State BJP incharge Fadnavis is holding one to one meetings with the ministers and MLAs of BJP in order to chalk out poll strategy for coming elections.
According to Lobo the contest in coming assembly elections will be between BJP and Congress with the Aam Aadmi party making little impact and TMC not making any presence at all.
Lobo said that Goans will not accept any party that does not have a base in Goa and has come from other states. When questioned about the BJP-MGP alliance, Lobo said that he is not aware of anything and it is left to the seniors in the party.
