Mangaluru: ‘Kannada Sambhrama’ at St Aloysius Gonzaga School

Mangaluru, Nov 4: St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great zeal and enthusiasm through a weeklong programme, ‘Kannada Sambhrama’. On November 1, 2021, a video was released on the school Youtube channel highlighting the activities done by the students.

The principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo, in his address gave a call to students to develop love for the glorious language of the state and said that the Kannada language has played a key role in acting as a bond between the people of Karnataka. Students were encouraged to participate in various captivating activities like tongue twisters, storytelling, reciting ‘Manku Thimmana Kagga’, dance, folk song and so on.

The programme was anchored by Gianna Clare Saldanha of class VIII.
