Hong Kong, Nov 5 (IANS): An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted 298 km South-west of Bluff, New Zealand, at 16:36:53 GMT on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicentre, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 48.2427 degrees south latitude and 165.1956 degrees east longitude, Xinhua news agency reported.
