Charles you are conducting IC Konkani Choir for past many years, may be 10 years now, How could you not found a single voice which is trained by you for several years, who is fit to sing a SOLO/DUET or to play a musical instrument in Charles Nite?.
If the master does not recognize this talent, who else will? Or are you accepting you did not bother to train anyone enough in last so many years?
Come on Charles, this is the maiden Charles Nite, (and not 100th Wilfy Nite). You had nothing to lose. Audience would have excused few mistakes in new comers, Compared to big blunders done by singers from Outside.

    dear Ashly IC,

You have not got my point right ....If konkani culture has to continue, we need Young talent who can take this further forever.....our Old people still likes/wants to sing Love Songs.....and do Dance, Why can't we put more efforts and train our younger generation who are more active and can give better perforamance....their invovlement can give more participation....Otherwise I believe Konkani culture will die along with us.

The maiden "Charles Nite" deserves all the encouragement possible. Whereas healthy criticism is most welcome, just to sit back and comment adversely would mean stifling the emerging talent. In fact, in these times there is a dearth of budding stars like Charles to emerge in limelight and keep the flame of our mother-tongue burning by such Nites. One would like to entertain more of this breed instead to emerge forward in the years to come thankfully in IC Colony. Jai Ho!

The outfit might have looked a little close to the Maharashtrian culture .. But I suppose, Tt must have missed your notice..that the song clearly contained words like the sea , the fish...fishing nets...etc.. Its a song of the fisher ladies...Hence, the outfit was just to support it !

Don't you think its highly appreciable that ladies at the age of 40 and above give out a great show in front of almost 500 people !?!

Congratulations! Since it was a maiden nite of charles, lapses could be overlooked but cannot be called as successful. Much mprovement is required and professional touch should be applied to the performance. Dances were not professional and younger crowd should be involved. Pl. take this as a constructive criticism and involve as many people as possible instead of ing from the coterie, which is harmful.

Sad Songs composition by Charles, Flat singing by Singers ( Ivan/Denis), Loud Music by Daybreakers, Imbalance Sound, where Lyrics were not Clear. If we call this as " Super Hit Charles Nite".......How poor is Our Konkani Performances and Ancy's Review....Let us grow up to the Audience Taste...this is Like " Meja vailem Kelem kadn pilyad jodchem....Charles do not fool.......It was undoubtedly Jokes of Jerry/Joseph and Songs of Kenny what made difference....How can you accept this Title as " Charles nite".....!

Hearty Congratulations for organizing such an entertaining and nostalgic Konkani musical Nite. Spiced with fun-charged comedy items it was thoroughly entertaining and I just wondered how time flew even as the audience was clamouring 'once more'!. May many more Nites follow. Unfortunately the lady who read out message during felicitation to Dolphy made serious mistake by referring the priests as well as laymen as "Baap",means Reverend.

Hit but Confusing Charles Nite Title.

If you remove JOKES (of Jerry/Joseph), SONGS of Kenny, which enthralled/entertained the audience maximaum (which was clear by crowd response), what Charles contributed confuses the Title of the show.as far as entertainment is concerned. Even One dance (which was not well performed as it was looking like Marathi legim) was on old Local Konkani folk song. Video presentation was something new experiment,
    Overall show was very entertaining.
