Mangaluru: Orientation programme held at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Nov 9: Orientation program for the students of Milagres College as well the parents was organized on November 9, 2021. The correspondent of Milagres Educational Institution, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth presided over the programme. In his message he enlightened the students that there is a need for every individual to carve and shape their destiny with hard work and opportunities that are provided.

The speaker of the programme, Manoj Louis, associate professor, Government First Grade College, Kavoor addressed the newly joined students and their parents.

The resource person, in detail took a session on NEP, the significance of the NEP during the four consecutive years, skill based course, open electives MOOC, Swayam and NPTEL online courses etc. In his address to the students, he referred to the advantages a student can have with the choice and options that could be made use of in NEP.

Principal Fr Michael L Santhumayor gave an formal introduction about the college.

Vice principal, Cassin Rodrigues introduced the resource person and welcomed the gathering. Student council representative Zaki Abbas was present on the dais.

Jostan D’Souza, student representative, compered the programme. Nayana K, HoD of Languages proposed the vote of thanks.
