Bantwal, Nov 8: Rural police seized illicit liquor worth Rs 33,510 from Thevukadu in Meramajalu of the taluk.

When police sub-inspector Prasanna and staff raided the spot, two accused fled from the spot. When police questioned Naveen D'Souza, who was on the spot about the incident, he confessed about selling illicit liquor.
