Mangalore: Poojary Demands Expulsion of Sudarshan from RSS
Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)
Mangalore, Nov 13: Former union minister, B Janardan Poojary, has demanded for the expulsion of K S Sudarshan, who he alleged, had made serious and false allegations against Congress leader, Sonia Gandhi, from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
“Sudarshan is a frontline leader of RSS. He was the chief of the organization earlier. The Sangh Parivar, by stating that they have nothing to do with Sudarshan’s statements, is trying to shirk from responsibility. It should avoid taking such a stand, and immediately expel Sudarshan from RSS,” he demanded.
Poojary said that the faēades of RSS are now getting uncovered one by one. He added that the way in which the RSS has been supporting the corrupt administration of Karnataka Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa and the members of his ministry, is ample proof about the crumbling principles of RSS. He asked RSS to keep a distance from those facing terrorism allegations, and felt that the RSS is now being driven by a craving for money.
“As soon as the name of Maharashtra Chief Minister figured in the Adarsh Housing Society scam, he resigned from his position. Suresh Kalmadi was asked to resign as his name came to the fore in the Commonwealth Games irregularities. But, the BJP continues to carry the burden of those accused of wrongdoing,” Poojary criticized.
Congress leaders, Kallige Taranath Shetty, Suresh Ballal, Harikrishna Bantwal, and district youth Congress president, Arun Coelho, were present at the press conference.
