In fear of losing elections PM will admit blunders from CAA to GST: Chidambaram

New Delhi, Nov 19 (IANS): Former Union Minister P. Chidambaram on Friday targeted the Prime Minister after he announced the withdrawal of farm laws and said that 'in fear of losing elections he will now admit all his blunders'.

Chidambaram tweeted, "If there is fear of losing the next election, the PM will Admit that demonetisation was a Himalayan blunder, the GST laws were poorly drafted and implemented in a hostile manner, Chinese troops have intruded into Indian territory and occupied our land, CAA is a patently discriminatory law, Rafale deal was dishonest and requires to be investigated, the acquisition and use of Pegasus spyware were illegal."

Chidambaram further tweeted, "PM's announcement on the withdrawal of the three farm laws is not inspired by a change of policy or a change of heart. It is impelled by fear of elections!"

"What cannot be achieved by democratic protests can be achieved by the fear of impending elections! Anyway, it is a great victory for the farmers and for the Congress party which was unwavering in its opposition to the farm laws," he added

The three farm laws that were passed last year around the same time have been a cause of widespread agitation with a consortium of farmers staging a protest, especially in northwest India and at Delhi's doorsteps and earlier within the national capital too, demanding the government to repeal it.

"It seems some of the farmers are still not convinced by our sincere efforts. We have decided to repeal the three farm laws. The constitutional process to repeal these laws would be completed during the Parliament Session that would start at the end of this month," Modi said in his address to the nation.

The Prime Minister also requested the agitating farmers to go back to their homes.

Vinasha Kallake Viparitha Buddhi. Now Modi’s death wish could be fulfilled as he said if Demonitisation fails then burn me alive. It’s either burn alive or gallows for BJP. BJP can not escape the long hand of the law.

The BJP Govt has made a mockery of Parlimentary Democracy by passing these Farm Bills without any discussion in the house or taken any Parlimentary bodies into confidence. It is clear to the people of our country that these three farm bills was a dubious case of match fixing by Modi and Amit Shah for their crony capitalists friends like Ambani and Adani. The elaborate advance preparations , go downs, super markets, land acquisitions and other arrangements by industrialists Abmani and Adani are already in the public domain. These crony capitalists will then dominate the agriculture sector and render the farmers vulnerable and vanquished. . They finally passed it in the Rajya Sabha in a most deceitful manner through a voice vote just to please their Crony Capitalist friends at the expense of the Farmers. A Suit Boot Ki Sarkar that is totally insensitive, Callous, Indifferent, Arrogant and Autocratic that cares two hoots for the lower sections of our society including farmers. "Since Independence, it is for the first time that an arrogant government has come to power. It is not even looking at the pain and sufferings of farmers, forget about the common man,"If Agriculture is a State subject the why has the center passed Bills on Farm Laws on Agriculture. Over 600 farmers have lost their lives in the protest due the misplaced Arrogance of Modi and the BJP Govt.

Firstly,What will Modi Sarkar do for the innocent farmers those who died during this agitation (Specially Lakshmipur Kheri incident)? Those farmers have been jailed or charged under IPC? Secondly, those people called these farmers #Khalistanis ,will they express #Maafi? Blunders after blunders by Modi and co. failed miserably from CAA to GST.
