New Delhi, Nov 23: An official book release ceremony was held by the authors of the recently published book ‘International HRM by Member of Parliament, government of India, Hema Malini. She expressed her best wishes to the authors Dr Rubee Singh and Dr Shahbaz Khanwho were present at the book launch. While inaugurating Hema expressed her feelings that the authors have done commendable work.
She also congratulated the co-authors of the book who could not be present due to Covid restrictions, Dr Jacinta Dsilva, University of Balamand, Dubai and Dr Prateep V Philip IPS, former DGP Tamil Nadu wished for their bright future. During the inauguration member of parliament enquired about the contents, utility and prospective readers of the book. One of the authors of the book Dr Rubee Singh explained to member of parliament about the main contents and benefits of this book for prospective management students. Member of parliament said that this book has been written on a vivid subject and will educate new generation very well in today's environment.
The book title 'International HRM' was published by Crescent Publishing Corporation in May 2021. The book analyses the comprehensive guide for all the students, instructors and International Human Resource Management professionals to build a strong base for IHRM practices in current scenario. The syllabus is designed to build a knowledge base of the contemporary practices and issues in International Human Resource Management. The aim of the book is to provide an understanding of the theoretical concepts and the practical implications of international HRM and to take strategic view of new developments in international HRM.
About The Authors-
Dr Jacinta Dsilva is an author, consultant, curriculum developer and an academician. She is an assistant professor, Marketing at University of Balamand, Dubai, UAE and a visiting scholar at Chongqing Technology and Business University, China.
Dr Rubee Singh is an editor, author and social activist. She is an assistant professor at Institute of Business Management, GLA University India. She has been awarded Honorary Doctorate in Human Rights and Peace from Royal American University USA for her outstanding contribution in social work.
Dr Shahbaz Khan is an assistant professor and area co-chair of Operations, Supply Chain and Business analytics at Institute of business management, GLA University India.
Dr Prateep V Philip IPS, He joined Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1987 and was allotted to Tamil Nadu cadre. He served in various capacities as superintendents of police, deputy inspector general of police, inspector general of police, additional director general of police and director general of police.
