Govt ready to discuss all issues, but dignity of Parliament be maintained: Modi

New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday appealed to all political parties for cooperation to ensure smooth functioning of Parliament and said that the Union government is ready to discuss and answer all issues.

Talking to media persons on the first day of the winter session of Parliament, Modi said Opposition parties are free to raise their voice against the government, but at the same time dignity of Parliament should be maintained.

The Prime Minister suggested that discussions and not the disruptions should be the yardstick on which the success of Parliament should be weighed.

He said that the country is celebrating 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsava' and various programmes are being held to mark the occasion.

Describing this session of Parliament as very important, he said: We would want that this session and the coming session to be run in accordance with the spirit of freedom lovers. Issues of National interest should be discussed in Parliament.

Talking about record vaccination against Covid-19, the Prime Minister also appealed to people to be alert against Omicron, a new Cornavirus variant.

While the government has gone back on the farm law, the opposition is demanding a law for MSP and compensation to the farmers who died during protests against the farm laws.

If there is will there are many ways but if there is no will then there are many reasons to disrupt. Beware of BJP’s own MLA to instigate disruptions. Disruptions are due to guilt in govt. BTW, questions and clarifications will be asked of the govt’s governance, laws and people’s reaction and related matters where govt itself is responsible for this and nothing outside of this. Most important issue here is govt too should cooperate and answer questions and clarify officially without sitting arrogantly on ‘Moun Vrath’. This is not Monkey Ba’ath of one way talk but democratic way of solving issues by two way communication. It’s clear that whatever govt speaks in its monkey Ba’ath and public bhashans is only media stunt without any truth because govt itself is unable to confirm it and can not even open its mouth to speak about it in the parliament when questioned about it.

Oh my goodness....Modi talks about dignity of parliament!!! This man after 2014 murdered all democratic institutions one by one for his party's progress and sold the national assets to his crony industrialist friends for getting electoral bonds in return for election expenses!!! Time has come now and he is been fully nanga(exposed) not only in India but in a global level. Farm stir is one off example!!!

If they raise voice and you behave like BHERA then only disruption happens. You don't have the capacity to take their question in right way......!!!
