Odisha Police constable with over Rs 2 cr assets raided

Bhubaneswar, Nov 29 (IANS): Odisha Police constable Sudarsan Pradhan, posted in Berhampur police district, is in the vigilance net for allegedly owning assets worth Rs 2.16 crore, an official said on Monday.

After getting reliable information, vigilance sleuths conducted raids on the properties of the constable at three places of Ganjam district on Monday.

During the raid, the vigilance has found four buildings in Berhampur town, 9 plots in Ganjam district, two two-wheelers, cash of over Rs 5 lakh and other movable and immovable properties, the official said.

The total values of the assets of Pradhan will be over Rs 2.16 crore. Further search operation is on, the official said.
