Mangaluru: Srinivas University conducts Cultural & Fresher’s Day

Mangaluru, Nov 30: The college's annual cultural day is one of the most awaited events. On November 26, the Department of BCom hosted Sparsha – 2021-22 at Srinivas premises. A huge number of students from BCom Honours, ACCA and CMA celebrated the college's cultural day.

Prof Keerthan Raj, dean, college of Management and Commerce, Prof Sharmila S Shetty, course coordinator of BCom department, Prof Yashaswi, course coordinator of BCom ACCA department, Prof Vinutha H K and Prof Souparnika, cultural coordinators were present on the occasion.

The programme began with an almighty prayer and the lighting of the lamp. Gauthami and her team from II BCom CMA opened the cultural programme with a prayer.

Various cultural competitions were organised, including solo and group dancing, solo and group singing, spot choreography and a fashion show. Students actively participated in all the events.

On the same day, the students of BCom courses organised a Fresher’s Day for their juniors. The purpose of the Fresher's Day was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the B.Com Family.

Cultural programmes followed thereby with various types of dance forms, songs and even games were also conducted for the fresher’s. 

The occasion was graced by the presence of Course Coordinators and all faculty members.
