PM Modi is and will remain committed to farmers: Tomar

New Delhi, Nov 30 (IANS): Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, responding to attacks by the Opposition parties over the farmers' issues, on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi "is and will remain committed towards farmers and agriculture".

Talking to IANS, Tomar said that the "historic works" that have been done during the last seven years of the Modi government to boost the agriculture sector and for the welfare of the farmers were "never done" during the tenure of the Congress government.

The Opposition parties, after the withdrawal of the three agricultural laws, are now demanding to enact MSP guarantee law and compensation to the farmers who died during the agitation.

The Union Minister was responding after the opposition accused the Centre of only "showing off" over the farmers' issues.

Modi has and will remain committed to Crony Capitalists from Gujarat. The BJP Govt has made a mockery of Parlimentary Democracy by passing these Farm Bills without any discussion in the house or taken any Parlimentary bodies into confidence. It is clear to the people of our country that these three farm bills was a dubious case of match fixing by Modi and Amit Shah for their crony capitalists friends like Ambani and Adani. The elaborate advance preparations , go downs, super markets, land acquisitions and other arrangements by industrialists Abmani and Adani are already in the public domain. These crony capitalists will then dominate the agriculture sector and render the farmers vulnerable and vanquished. . They finally passed it in the Rajya Sabha in a most deceitful manner through a voice vote just to please their Crony Capitalist friends at the expense of the Farmers. A Suit Boot Ki Sarkar that is totally insensitive, Callous, Indifferent, Arrogant and Autocratic that cares two hoots for the lower sections of our society including farmers. "Since Independence, it is for the first time that an arrogant government has come to power. It is not even looking at the pain and sufferings of farmers, forget about the common man,"If Agriculture is a State subject the why has the center passed Bills on Farm Laws on Agriculture

‘PM Modi Is and Will Be Committed to Farmers’ but not Was committed because of elections in mind now. Even fuel prices were reduced because of elections so is Aryan khan’s case was dropped and awarded bail. Power hungry greedy BJP will do anything to win election even if it means selling Bharath Matha and Gau Matha.
