Sweden Orders Arrest of WikiLeaks Foundre in Rape, Molestation Case

Stockholm, Nov 18 (AP): A Swedish court has approved a request by prosecutors to detain WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for questioning on suspicion of rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion.

Assange has denied the accusations, which stem from his encounters with two women during a visit to Sweden in August.

Thursday's decision by the Stockholm District Court may lead to an international arrest warrant for Assange.

Director of Public Prosecution Marianne Ny said she made the request because ``so far, we have not been able to meet with him to accomplish the interrogation.''
