Bangalore, Nov 21: Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has proved to be a hard nut to crack to the BJP high command. CM mired with controversies has now made a veiled threat to destabilize the government if not retained as the CM of the state.
"I can't be replaced. If I am asked to step down I can destabilize the government as I have the support of all the BJP MLAs. I have no successor in the state except me," reiterated a confident Yeddy. He says that the state BJP government is being targeted by the Congress and JDS to fulfill their ulterior motives.
Meanwhile, BJP is working hard to convince Yeddyurappa to stepdown and also worried over his refusal to do so. It is learnt that top leaders are working on the replacement. Ministers Jagadish Shettar and Suresh Kumar are among the front-runners for the post.
Meanwhile, H D Kumaraswamy has presented a fresh set of documents proving the kickbacks received by Yeddyurappa from mining company.
