Udupi, Nov 22: A person was killed and two others were injured, after a motor bike, which was hit by a tipper truck, collided with another motor bike in the town on Sunday November 21. The deceased has been identified as Kedoor Umesh Shetty (30).
The bike being driven by Shetty was moving towards the town from the direction of Ambalpady here, when a tipper that came from behind, hit it. The bike rider was crushed under the tipper. The motor bike, because of the impact of the accident, moved to the right and hit another motor bike.
Mohammed Ashiq Ali and his aunt, Nafisa, who were moving on the other motor bike, were injured. The two were going to Udayavar to meet an ailing relative in the hospital there, when the accident occurred.
