Mangaluru, Dec 9: Karnataka Bank has been conferred with two Digi Dhan awards instituted by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt of India, for achieving the target with highest percentage in BHIM – UPI transactions under the Private Sector Bank Category consecutively for two years - Financial Years 2019-20 and 2020-21.
The awards were received by Raja B S, general manager and Jagadeesh K S, DGM, Delhi – region on behalf of the Bank from Ashwini Vaishnaw, honourable central Minister for Railway, Electronics and IT (GOI) and Rajiv Chandrashekhar, MOS for Electronics and IT on the occasion of 'Digital Payments Utsav' held on December 5, 2021 at New Delhi.
