Bantwal: Carmel College holds Student Cabinet inaugural

Bantwal, Dec 10: The inaugural ceremony of the Student Cabinet Carmel College Modankap was held in the college Auditorium recently. A band of 28 student leaders took charge as student cabinet for the academic year 2020-2021.

Wilfred Prakash Dsouza, in charge principal of government College Vogga inaugurated the programme. The programme began by invoking God’s blessings.

The chief guest motivated the cabinet members to work with confidence, competence and enthusiasm. He also mentioned the role and functions of the student council.

The principal Dr Sr Latha Fernandes A C handed over the college flag to the student council leaders, president Thejasvi III B Com, secretary Amania Zainaba III BBA, joint secretary Francis Melwin Crasta III B Com as a sign of taking up the responsibilities. She also advised the cabinet team to be their best and to work with team spirit.

Vice principal Vinitha Veigas, members of teaching and non teaching staff were present. The programme was compered by Venishya and the vote of thanks was proposed by Amania Zainaba.
