Mangaluru, Dec 11: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) urged the police department and district administration to take stringent action against Sangh Parivar and alleged that it is involved in untoward incidents in the district.
Addressing media here on Saturday December 11, SDPI district president Aboobakkar Kulai said, “In the recent days, Dakshina Kannada is witnessing untoward incidents. Due to the provocative speeches and Trishul Deeksha, the miscreants are provoked and involved in criminal activities. Sangha Parivar leaders like Chaitra Kundapur, Jagadish Karanth and Radhakrishna have no control over their tongue. Such provocative remarks will lead to criminal activities.
“The Sangh Parivar is targeting one particular community and is involved in stabbing, murder and assault. The police department and district administration should take stringent measures and take action to curb such untoward incidents in the district and arrest the culprits,” he said.
SDPI district committee member Athavulla Jokatte, Jaleel K, SDPI district organizing secretary Jamal Jokatte and SDPI district general secretary Anwar Sadath and others were present.
