Udupi, Nov 23: President Prathibha Devisingh Patil will formally inaugurate the new campus of T A PAI Management Institute (Tapmi), one of the leading B-Schools in India on December 9.

Speaking about the inauguration, Dr Saji Gopinath, director, Tapmi said “During the last 25 years, Tapmi has developed itself as an institution with strong credentials in education, training and research. The facilities in the new campus being inaugurated by the president will provide necessary impetus to the further growth and development of the Institute."

He stressed that, "Tapmi is one of the very few Private Business Schools in the country to have such a large and scenic campus which provides the right ambience for high quality education.”

About the New Campus

The 42 acre new campus of TAPMI has state of the art facilities required for quality education with a built up area of over 1.2 lakh sqft covering the Academic Building with 10 air-conditioned classrooms, Knowledge Centre, and residential facility for over 600 students and faculty. The Institute has a well-equipped library and a most modern computer centre. There is a branch of Syndicate Bank in the premises with an ATM facility.

The spacious campus would also be utilized effectively by Tapmi for its recently introduced programmes viz, two-year residential PGDM in Healthcare Management and e-Governance programme for executives
(e-GPX). Tapmi School of Business, Manipal, an autonomous Institution under Manipal University planning to offer full time residential high quality MBA programmes aiming at inclusive growth through affordable and high quality management education in the region will also be located near the campus.
