Mangaluru, Dec 14: Christmas is love come down to earth a gift of infinite worth. The festive season waves a magic wand over the earth to cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College organized a delightful and meaningful Christmas programme on December 13, 2021 in the Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Auditorium at 11.30 am.
The programme commenced by invoking the blessings of the almighty with a melodious prayer song by Anya and team. Fr Rohan M Dias, assistant administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital and Homoeopathic Pharmaceutical Division extended a cordial welcome to the gathering.
To commemorate the joy of Christmas, cake-cutting ceremony was held. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director along with Fr Roshan Crasta, administrator, Fr Rohan Dias, assistant administrator, Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, principal, Dr Vilma Meera D’Souza, vice-principal Dr Girish Navada, medical superintendent, management committee members, cultural coordinator, representatives of students association and representatives from non-teaching staff joined the celebration.
Director Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho presided over the occasion and in his message, he stressed on the fact of keeping peace and harmony within ourselves and our brothers and sisters and bring joy to the family and society in the New Year to come.
To enliven the occasion, lucky draw contest was conducted by Dr G Rajachandra, associate professor. The winners were Vismaya, III BHMS and Sr Rosa, I BHMS. Gifts were presented to the winners.
To shimmer sparkle and delight to the occasion, Christmas theme dance was performed by Stephy Varghese and team. Soulful melodious carols were presented by Rose Mary and team. Arrival of santa with his troupe by Ms Dona and team, created a magical and jubilant ambience enhancing the joy of Christmas.
The event was eloquently and gracefully compered by Dr Febin George and Dr Jennifer Noronha, postgraduate scholars. Vote of thanks was proposed by the MCs.
