Mangalore, Nov 27: The climate in the twin-districts brightened further on Friday November 26, as rains remained away. A few isolated stretches within the city received light showers for a short period, while a few places in Karkala taluk got light rains on Friday. With the rains easing away, the climate has become hotter.

The meteorological department has predicted light rains in a few places in Karnataka coast and some places in southern hinterlands during the period till Sunday morning.
