Puttur: Children’s Theatre Fest ‘Attamutta’ to Stage Four Plays on Nov 27, 28

Puttur, Nov 27: ‘Attamutta’, the children’s theater fest, will be held here on Saturday November 27 and Sunday November 28. It’s being organized by Nirata Niranta and Bahuvachanam theater groups that
have been organizing ‘Natakotsav’ here since the past seven years.

Four Kannada plays will be staged as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of Nirata Niranta theater troupe.

‘Bidira Betta’, a drama directed by I K Bolwar, will be staged by the students of Ramakrishna High School here on Saturday at 6.00 pm, followed by ‘Saavira Kokkugalu’, a drama directed by B R Venkataramana Aithal, which will be staged by Kinnara Mela Tumari troupe.

‘Kallavvana Kanasu’, a drama directed by Mounesh Vishwakarma, will be staged by the students of Sudhana Residential School here on Sunday evening followed by ‘Vigada Vikramaraya’ , a drama directed
by K G Krishnamurti will be staged by the students of Kinnara Mela Tumari troupe.

Theatre Training Workshop

A theatre training workshop will be held at Ramakrishna High School on Sunday morning under the leadership of Mohana Sona, veteran artiste of Nirata Niranta theater troupe, for the students of high
schools. It will be a unique workshop on how to use simple costumes and accessories in innovative ways when staging plays.
