Kasargod, Nov 30: In an incident that occurred at Bekoor near here on Monday November 29 evening, a college student died on the spot. Mujeeb (20), a resident of Uppala Moosodi, studying in a college in Mangalore, was going on his motor bike to attend a marriage, when a private bus coming from the direction of Bayar, hit him. He died on the spot.
In the other incident, a truck loaded with fish hit a person waiting for his bus on highway 17 at Mada near Manjeshwar. T T Muhammed (44) from Kanhangad Kalluravi, was seriously injured in the accident. He died while being taken in an ambulance to a private hospital in Mangalore for treatment. The post mortem was conducted in Mangalpady community hospital.
Cases with regard to these deaths were registered in Manjeshwar police station.
