Ranchi, Dec 24: Minor differences among a group of boys resulted in the barbaric murder of one among them. This incident happened in Rohini village of Deogarh district in Jharkhand.

The murdered boy's parents had filed missing complaint about their son on Wednesday. The police who immediately began to question the friends of the boy got to know about the macabre incident. A boy, Avinash, has been identified as the brain behind this murder.

At 8.30 pm on Tuesday December 21, a friend visited the house of the boy aged 14, and took him away. On the way, another friend, Avinash (19), joined the duo. Near the Palanga Pahad forest, Avinash kicked up a fight with the 14-year-old boy and murdered him by stabbing him in the abdomen with a sabre. He also slit the throat of the body thereafter and severed the limbs of the boy. The pieces of the body were then put in a gunny bag and the bag was then buried by digging a pit inside the forest.

The police who took Avinash into custody took him into the forest and dug out the body. The sabre used to murder the boy and the mobile phone of the deceased boy have been recovered, said investigating officer Pavan Kumar.
