The concept of the book itself is very innovative. For the very first time a book has been written on a lyric writer. The book contains multiple responses to Kaikini’s film lyrics by several people from varied professions.
Jayant Kaikini is regarded as one of the most significant of the younger writers in Kannada today. South TV actress and anchor Aparna who has also analyzed a song of Kaikini lauded the genuine efforts of Avinash in bringing up the book and said that she was impressed by the novel concept which is a good gift to Kannada song lovers.
Working hard on the book for over 11 months, Avinash is all set to show his adulation towards Kaikini by dedicating it to him. Kaikini’s 60 popular songs have been analyzed by various personalities in the book. The Foreword for the book has been written by Subraya Chokkady, one of the great contributors to Kannada literature.
