Beltangady: New 'Mahadwara' to Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Opened

Beltangady, Dec 2: Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala is similar to a 'Kalpavruksha' (wish fulfilling tree) as the place shows the path to religion, ritual, and all success in life, said Vishvesha Tirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Adhokshaja Math, Udupi on Wednesday December 1 after inaugurating the new 'Mahadwara' (entrance door) to Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala constructed at Ujire.
The stage programme was held at Indraprasta auditorium of the Ujire College.
The place is an embodiment of justice, truthfulness, faith, solace, fulfillment and peace apart from being a revered religious place for devotees, he added.
Vidyaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji of Shree Subrahmanya Math delivered the benedictions. He said that god will always bless the people who stay near to those who sincerely approach him.
D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala presided over the function. In his presidential address he said that the purpose of constructing the ‘Mahadwara’ was to give a message that all should visit the sacred place and feel inspired as well as strengthen their will to quit bad habits.
MLA K Vasanth Bangera, SCDCC Bank president N Rajendra Kumar, Vijayaraghava Padwetnaya, managing trustee of Ujire Shree Janardhana Temple, SDM College secretary D Harshendra Kumar and vice-president Prof S Prabhakar among others were present.
Pratapsimha Nayak conducted the programme. Panduranga Baliga Ujire welcomed the gathering. Venkatramana Hebbar delivered the vote of thanks.
