Yeddyurappa, Kumaraswamy Together Inaugurate Programme, Shake Hands

Tumkur, Dec 2: Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and JD(S) State president H D Kumaraswamy, who have been attacking each other and exchanging allegations of land scams over the last few weeks shared a common platform at a function today.
For a change the two leaders greeted each other warmly and shook hands when they shared the platform at Siddalingeshwar Mutt in Tumkur, 70 km from here, today participating at a Gurugandana function of nonegenerian Syhivakumara Swamiji.
Kumaraswamy, however, did not waste even this opportunity, and appealed to the Chief Minister to hold an inquiry on the allegation of his political secretary B J Puttaswamy that former Prime Minister H D Devegowda had allegedly grabbed 81 acres of Gomal land along with his family members in Hassan district.
Yeddyurappa assured to take action on the issue within next two days. After Puttaswamy made the allegations, his house was attacked allegedly by JD(S) workers and 24 people were arrested in this connection.
