PM to release Rs 20K cr to more than 10 cr beneficiaries under PM-KISAN

New Delhi, Dec 29 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 10th instalment of financial benefits under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), transferring more than Rs 20,000 crore to nearly 10 crore beneficiary farmer families on January 1, 2022.

Under the PM-KISAN scheme, a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to the eligible beneficiary farmer families, payable in three equal 4-monthly instalments of Rs 2000 each. The fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

Samman Rashi of over Rs 1.6 lakh crore has been transferred to farmer families so far.

During the programme, Prime Minister will also release an equity grant of more than Rs 14 crore to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), which will benefit more than 1.24 lakh farmers.

The Prime Minister will interact with FPOs during the event and will also address the nation. Union Agriculture Minister will also be present on the occasion.

Rajiv Gandhi’s famous remark in 1985 that only 15 paise of every rupee meant for welfare of downtrodden reaches them. Now In Modi regime Directly full amount credited to farmers account.this everybody knows now,But some people have special agenda thats why they oppose each and everything Modi does

    Rs 2000 per person. Voikla yaarand maarre. yenchina avasthe. This is going in opposite direction of "haani koodi halla" 20k Cr goes into ppls hand as 2000 rupees each, which wont make any positive impact in ppls lives Instead, govt should use that 20k Cr to develop something like road, infrastructure, may be support MSME's, education scholarships, etc which will indirectly benefit a lot more ppl

    Big announcement with big numbers but at the end if you do the math each beneficiary will get only Rs 200/ for life, lucky if that is too is given. Feku is promising and showing moon but giving stones saying it came from moon.
