Bantwal: Vice president of Alike gram panchayat escapes unhurt in accident

Bantwal, Dec 31: A car falls into a ditch at Talipadpu of Pervai in Kuddupadavu.

The incident took place as the driver tried to avoid a vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Jagadish Shetty Muliya, vice president of Alike gram panchayat and resident of Muliya, escaped unhurt in the incident.

The incident took place when he was traveling from his residence to Kuddupadavu. The mishap took place when he tried to avoid a car coming from the opposite direction which was overtaking a lorry.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Vittal. The right side of the car got completely damaged in the incident. Vittal police visited the spot.
