Mangalore: Congress to Protest against BJP’s Stance on Lokayukta

Mangalore, Dec 6: Bantwal MLA Ramanath Rai informed through the press meet at district Congress office here on Monday December 6 that the Congress members will protest against the treatment shown towards Justice Santhosh Hedge by the BJP government.

He said that the protest would be staged in front of the DC’s office on Wednesday December 8.

Speaking further he alleged that the state CM Yeddyurappa is mainly responsible for Hegde’s resignation months back. The act of some of the BJP leaders to prevent Lokayukta probe in the land scam issues shows that they have no sense of respect towards Lokayukta, he added.

He also said that since Justice Hegde hails from DK district Congress will not tolerate any misbehavior or insult to him by the BJP government.

Congress leaders Shashidhar Hegde, Ivan D’Souza, Ashraf, Sudhir T K, Vishwasdas, and Sadashiva Ullal were also present at the press meet.

    Protest on the pretext of portest against BJP,these guys are getting a chance to show their face to the public.Otherwise there is no chance of showing their political activities in Mangalore.Lage raho!!!

    though late atlest mr.ramanath rai started acting in favou of congress.....work hard for congress ramanath and also give a chance to be in your seat to mr.vishwas who is working hard for congress
