Malabar Gold and Diamonds, one of the largest gold and diamond retail chains in the country, launched ‘The Malabar Gold and Diamonds Artistry Store’ at MG Road here on Friday January 7.

Malabar Gold and Diamonds' largest store in Karnataka was inaugurated by chief guest C N Ashwath Narayan, minister of science and technology, higher education and IT, biotechnology, Karnataka, in the presence of MLA N A Haris (Shantinagar constituency), Kerala opposition leader V D Satheesan, MLA, Malabar Group chairman M P Ahammed, vice-chairman K P Abdul Salam, managing director - India operations O Asher, managing director - international operations Shamlal Ahammed, executive director K P Veeran Kutty, retail opertaions head (rest of India) P K Siraj, regional head Fliser Babu and other dignitaries.

The MG Road showroom is a part of Malabar Gold & Diamonds' global expansion plans for 2022 in which it will open 22 new showrooms in India and abroad in January. The Group will invest another Rs 800 crore for this new phase of expansion this year.

Providing customers with an all-new shopping experience, the Artistry Store has been conceptualized with the vision of celebrating the art and history of the city through jewellery.

With 22 stores set to open in January, the brand is marking a grand start to its ambitious expansion plans. The launch of the Malabar Gold and Diamonds Artistry Store is the first one in this phase of expansion. Spanning over 22,000 square feet and providing the largest array of jewellery in the heart of the city, the store is designed as a one-stop solution for jewellery needs.

This large-format flagship store from Malabar Gold and Diamonds will showcase over 30,000 designs and offer a unique jewellery shopping ambience curated for the diverse metropolitan customer base in Bengaluru. The most distinguishing aspect of this store is the availability of the widest range of jewellery designs across gold, diamond, platinum and silver with a particular focus on craftsmanship. An expansive range of collections suitable for the city’s diverse communities and customs has been made available to cater to every need of the customers. An impressive array of lightweight designs as well as an extensive range of studded and precious jewellery have also been curated for this purpose.

The store features an exclusive wedding lounge for prospective brides and private suites for privileged customers. It also offers best-in-class personalized services including the assistance of solitaire experts and personal shoppers for an enhanced shopping experience. A bespoke suite for customization with the assistance of in-house designers and experts has also been arranged to provide a boutique experience in the store. Digital screens and endless aisle facilities contribute to the superior store ambience and provide an omnichannel experience to the customer. Additionally, the store ensures customer convenience with a large parking area and comfortable waiting areas.
