Abu Dhabi, Jan 9: WAM produced a documentary on the occasion of 50th national day of UAE and it has got popular with the public on national and international platforms.
First documentary recorded 21.5 million views. Views on social media reached to 36.4 million. In total the views this documentary got was a staggering 57.9 million.
The merge of the union by its founding father Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan is mainly chronicled in this documentary which is 13 minutes in length.
Pioneering achievements of the country and forward looking vision of leadership is given prime importance in addition to distinctive approach of human empowerment.
Director general of Emirates News Agency (WAM) Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi said that he is proud that the documentary has gone viral and liked by so many people.
According to RAyssi it is the effort of the agency to build and strenghthen its partnership with international media that has brought glory to the country.
He also said that they are keen on playing the role of UAE’s national news agency and the futuristic vision of the country is published to the public of the world.
The dubbing of the documentary in eight langauges of Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Ukranian, Chinese, French and Russian contributed to its success.
