Kuwait, Dec 9: Elias Sanctis of Mangalore was honoured with ‘Vishwa Kannada Rajyotsava award’ for his social service at the 7th World Kannada Cultural Convention – 2010 held in Singapore Polytechnic
Convention Center, Singapore, recently.

Renowned for his social service activities, Sanctis is the member of United Associations of Karnataka, Kuwait. He is also the former president of Tulukoota, Kuwait.

Karnataka's Kannada and Culture minister Govind Karjol, Kannada development authority president Mukyamantri Chandru, litterateur Dr Baragur Ramachandrappa, Singapore Kannada Sangha president Dr
Vijaykumar and M K P Manjunath Sagar among others were present on the occasion.

Tuluva Shree conferred by Tulukoota, Bangalore are some of the awards he has received for his contribution to the society.
