Kundapur, Jan 13: Sathyaki Savarkar, grandson of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar visited Dr Shivarama Karanth theme park, Kota.
He laid a garland to the statue of Dr Karanth situated in between the lake, visited the theater, art gallery, Anganwadi and library and expressed his appreciation. “The role of poets in enriching the languages is great. The construction of the theme park in memory of Jnanapeeta awardee Dr Shivarama Karanth is commendable. May the achievements of Karanth reach the future generation,” he said.
Minister of social welfare Kota Srinivas Poojary, Karanth Prathistana executive president Anand C Kunder, trustee Subraya Acharya, Kotatattu gram panchayat member Prakash Handattu, Prakash Malpe and others were present.
