Mangalore: ZP, TP, Elections – Nominations Yet to Pick Up Momentum

Mangalore, Dec 15: On Tuesday, December 14, which happened to be the second day for filing of nominations for the ensuing taluk and zilla panchayat elections, two nomination papers were filed in Beltangady taluk.

One nomination was filed from Puttur taluk. No nominations were filed from any of the other three taluks in Dakshina Kannada district.

In Udupi district, only one nomination was filed from Kundapur taluk. District electoral officer said that a BJP candidate, Ramesh, hadfiled his papers from Molahally constituency under Kundapur taluk panchayat, on Tuesday.
