Bengaluru, Jan 20: Minister Murugesh Nirani termed as false the information being spread that the chief minister (CM) had personally complained to the national leadership of the party against him. He was addressing a press conference held here on Wednesday January 19.

Nirani said that he never loses balance of mind whether he has power or not. He said that he has always followed the policy of obeying the senior leaders. "Some people are spreading canards. The CM can never complain against me. We studied in the same college and have relationship spanning over three decades. We cannot have any differences of opinion," he explained.

The minister said that whenever he has erred, either in politics or elsewhere, Bommai has been giving him advice. "He does not have any grievances against me. I have not visited Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur or Ahmedabad for the last eight months, nor have I met any national level leaders or anyone from the Sangh Parivar. It is left to the sole discretion of the chief minister to fill the vacant positions in the ministry. Dropping any minister is also at his absolute discretion," he added.

Nirani said that Bommai will take a suitable decision on the demand to include Veerashaiva Lingayat Panchamasali community under backward classes and the community will get justice. Everything should be done legally and the cabinet will discuss the report of the backward classes’ commission and take a decision, he explained.
