Mangalore, Dec 18: St Christopher Association celebrated Christmas with its hostel residents on Friday December 17.

The parish priest of Rosario Church, Fr  Stany Goveas was the chief guest. After cutting the Christmas cake he addressed the gathering and said that the festival of Christmas which has been celebrated across the world spreads the message of Jesus which emphasizes on    love, friendship and brotherhood.

“ When we spread this message of Jesus to people of all communities the true meaning of celebrating Christmas is achieved”, he added.

Association president Sushil Noronnha presided. He said that the Jesus was always in favour of the poor and his life is truly an example to people of all casts.

Leena D’Souza had organized various competitions to the participants of the celebration. Herald D’Souza compered the programme. Victor Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Vice-president Francis D’Souza was present.
