Udupi, Jan 31: Adarsha College of Nursing and Adarsha Institute of Paramedical Science was inaugurated by Sri Ishapriya Theertha Swamiji of Admar math, accompanied with Sri Vinay Guruji of Gowrigadde, Koppa by lighting the lamp on Sunday January 30.
Ishapriya Swamiji in his blessing message said, “The soul is eternal. We should be ready to leave the soul from our body. We should achieve something in our lifetime and need to serve the society. Development of the nation and maintaining social stability is important. This is the right time to teach samskara to young minds.
"The nursing college is another feather added to Adarsha Group of Institutions. Karma says a person should keep his part of the income for generous activity," he said.
Vinay Guruji said, “India is exploring its culture across the world now. If intentions are good, God’s grace will be there."
J C Madhuswamy Minister of Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation Karnataka in his address said, “May the institution extend good service for the public. If a person has dedication on his work, he can have great achievements."
V Sunil Kumar, minister of Energy, Kannada an Culture department said, “Let students of this college have bright future and make their names in various fields." He wished all the best for the institution.
Dr G S Chandrashekar, chairman, Adarsha Group of Institutions and medical director, Adarsha Hospital, Udupi welcomed the gathering and delivering his keynote address said, “The nursing college was started on demand and with the intention of providing quality education for the nursing course aspirants. We will provide first hand training to the students without compromising the quality. The ultimate purpose of starting this institution is to produce quality paramedical staffs and nurses. As there is demand for the nursing job in the country and even abroad."
