Udupi, Dec 26: Litterateur K Sitaram Adiga (81) passed away after a brief illness here on Friday December 24 night. He is survived by two sons and three daughters.

He served as a teacher for 39 years and books written by him include “Beru Chiguru” and “Adigala Edikadi” among others.

Law minister S Suresh Kumar and MLA Raghupati Bhat were among those who have condoled Adiga's death.
