Udupi, Feb 10: “I do not mind CFI addressing me as a goonda. The Campus Front of India (CFI) is an anti national organization,” said Yashpal Suvarna, vice president of Udupi Government PU College Development Committee.
Continuing his barrage against CFI, Suvarna further said, “Udupi BJP leaders have not given any statement pertaining to Hijab. Some paid leaders have given press statements. CFI is an anti-national organization. They work against the interests of India. Their aim is to bring down the economical system of India by creating disturbances in society. Let them give rights to their women first at their homes. Let their women fight to be allowed into mosques. They do not have a right to demand Hijab in educational institutions.
“We work due to patriotism. The CFI leader is a paid man. Where is the base for CFI? When Muslim women get educated, they come to know about the way they are being suppressed by their community. When Muslim women get educated and enter the main stream of society, they start questioning people from their own religion. Then the game of CFI and PFI will be over", he said.
“Such organisations are ruining the future of Muslim girl students. The six girl students being educated should have met their teachers and inquired about the uniform policy. It is not right to resort to scripted protests,"Suvarna added.
“Members of organizations are enjoying at home watching TV after making the innocent girls enact dramas. This is a scheme of making money by showing these fake videos in Muslim countries. There are countless poor people in the Muslim society. Instead of rewarding the Muslim girl of Mandya PES college wit Rs 5 lac , let them give it to the poor Muslims in their society", he opined.
“Let CFI come for a face to face discussion if they have actual documents. Let all poor Muslims raise the slogan ‘Allah Hu Akbar’ and let the Jamat Committee give all of them a prize of Rs 5 lac. This is an international marketing skill," he ridiculed.
“A small incident was blown out of proportion to get international media attention. There are around 25000 NRI students at Manipal. CFI is hatching a plot to damage the economy of the state and country,” stated Suvarna.
