Udupi: St Anthony's relic feast to be celebrated on Feb 15 at Manjarpalke Pakala Shrine

Udupi, Feb 12: The feast of St Anthony's relic will be celebrated at St Anthony's Shrine here at Manjarpalke Pakala, Belman on Tuesday February 15, 2022.

St Anthony's Shrine Manjarpalke Pakala is a holistic place. The place is believed to be divine and many miracles have happened in this holy place. Every year St Anthony's relic feast is celebrated in the shrine with grandeur.

On Februart 15, 2022 the festival Eucharistic mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Fr George D'souza, parish priest St Lawrence Church Moodubelle will be the chief celebrant. Eucharistic celebrations will also be held at 8 am and 4:30 pm.

Preparation to the relic feast 3 days novena prayers will begin from Feb 12 at 4 pm. On February 14 at 4 pm special Eucharistic celebration in Kannada language will be celebrated by Fr Albert Crast, parish priest Pius Nagar.

The sub-station at Pakala, Manjarapalke, is under Belman parish situated at Padubidri-Karkala-Kudremukh state highway, about 50 kilometers from Mangaluru and about two kilometers from Belman church (towards Karkala) towards your right. The sub-station, known as 'St Anthony's Shrine', was less known. Since 30 years, the devotion of St Anthony has spread miraculously. Innumerous miracles and favours received by the devotees made this shrine famous as people from all walks of life in and around Belman flock the site during the annual feast and relic feast. Every Tuesday at 4 pm novena prayers and Eucharistic mass will be celebrated. On every first Tuesday adoration of holy sacrament will be held.
