Udupi, Dec 30: Superintendent of police Pravin Pawar said on Wednesday December 29 that the relentless efforts made by the special police team helped crack Brahmavar's Sunanda Shetty murder. Yogish Kumar Poojary (27) was arrested from Heroor for her murder.

Pawar told presspersons that Sunanda Shetty (62) was found murdered in front of her house at Heroor in Brahmavar police station limits in the early hours of December 21. Her ornaments were missing and a white cap was found near her body. Yogish, a matriculate from Heroor, residing a few yards away from the house of the victim was running a small grocery store near Heroor Bus Stand. He had borrowed a huge amount from different banks. To clear the loans, he targetted Sunanda, a lone resident, he confessed.
