Mangalore, Dec 30:
Coming down strongly on BJP leaders, Ramanath Rai at a press meet held in district Congress office on Thursday December 30, said that the BJP, Dakshina Kannada in particular has been engaging in conducting tours for voters of minority community, resulting in them not being available to cast their votes as well as getting hold of their voter ID cards for its misuse and applying indelible ink on those voters finger well in advance among others.

Calling BJP a party of wicked people he said people of DK will this time around vote against corruption. Stating that all the development works are initiated by central government, Rai said BJP government has turned the state completely insolvent.

Hitting back at MP Nalin’s comments in which he stated that Congress has no followers even to sit at booth during election period, Rai sarcastically replied that he does not raise his voice during Lok Sabha sessions, but is only fit to speak on occasions such as this.

Congress leader M G Hegde among others was present.
