Udupi, Jan 3: A twenty-year-old youth from Uttar Pradesh who was working as a labourer at Nagarjuna Power Project area near Padubidri here met watery grave in the Arabian Sea at Yermal shores near here on Sunday January 2 afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Vipin Kumar, a plumber at Nagarjuna Power Project site. He had been on duty on Sunday and was engaged in execution of laying of pipeline at the sea at Yermal when he was swallowed by strong waves.
Our sources reported that his body has been fished out. The Padubidri police have registered a case in this regard.
