Kasargod: Chopping of Lecturer’s Hand – Policemen to File Charge Sheet

Kasargod, Jan 3: The policemen have said that charge sheet in respect of 29 people connected with the chopping off of a hand of a college lecturer, will be submitted once all the accused are arrested.

The police investigations have found that M K Nasser, Younus, Tamaru and others had hatched a plan to cut off a hand of K T Joseph, lecturer of Newman College in Todupuzha, last year. The policemen claim that M K Nasser, one of the main accused, who has evaded arrest so far, Younus, who is under arrest, and some alleged activists of Popular Front of India had executed this plan. They have also found that the accused were getting funds from the Gulf countries for their activities.

It is said that the policemen have also found that the accused have links with Tamil Nadu-based thieves engaged in stealing ancient idols.  An exhaustive report about these activities and a photo album have been prepared by the policemen on these activities.
