Mangaluru, Feb 22: The Ullal unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)-Bajrang Dal on Monday February 21 held a protest condemning the killing of Bajrang Dal member Harsha in Shivamogga.

The protestors blocked the road under Thokkottu flyover.

Addressing the protest, Bajrang Dal Ullal convener Arjun Madoor warned that the Bajrang Dal will reply to the 'sword' of anti-social elements with 'sword'.

"Harsha's death is an irreparable loss to the Hindu community. The environment in the state is such that there is no protection for the youth. It is unfortunate that Hindu youths are getting killed in the strong fortress of Hindutva.

"VHP-Bajrang Dal will give a fitting reply to the conspiracy by anti-social forces that are creating communal unrest. India is the base for Hindutva. If there is even a prickle, Bajrang Dal will reply with direct campaign. We will reply to sword with sword. The killers have even hurled stones at Harsha's funeral procession. Unrest is being created like this," he said.

VHP district president Gopal Kuthar, VHP Ullal unit president Narayana Kumpala, joint secretary Ravi Asaigoli, district Goraksha head Pavitra Kerebail and others were present.
