Mangalore: 'AYS Children Chess Festival 2011' on Jan 9

Mangalore, Jan 6: Ashokanagar Yuvaka Sangha (Regd) will hold a daylong 'AYS Children Chess Festival 2011' at Ashokanagar Hr Primary School, Ashoknagar here on Sunday January 9.

Rapid Chess tournament will be held in following categories: Under 9 boys, under 9 Girls, under 12 Boys, Under 12 Girls, Under 16 Boys and Under 16 Girls.

Top 5 players in each category will be awarded prizes. Top 2 schools will be awarded for overall.

The event is being organised on behalf of Golden jubilee Year of Ashoakanagar Yuvaka Sangha.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all the participants.

Interested players shall register on or before Friday January 7.
