He was speaking after inaugurating a free eye test and health check-up camp organised by Vakwadi Praveen Kumar Shetty near Vakwadi Fortune Village here on Sunday, February 27.
"After completing our education from our native places, we should not forget them after moving elsewhere. We should always remember our parents, relatives and friends," he added.
Doctors of Prasada Nethralaya of Udupi conducted free eye tests and the Rural Ayurveda Medical College doctors conducted a health check-up.
On this occasion, the World Bunts' Association felicitated Praveen Kumar Shetty and Roopali Praveen Kumar.
