Kuwait: Renowned Singer Rony D’Cunha Honoured by QAKCA

Kuwait, Jan 8: Renowned singer Rony D'Cunha was honoured by the Queen of Arabia Konkani Community of Ahmadi (QAKCA) here on Friday January 7.

Rony was felicitated in recognition of his achievements, especially for winning the 'Global Konkani Music Award-2010' in male category by Mandd Sobhann during the first World Konkani Cultural Convention held recently.

Fr John Harry D’Souza OFM Cap, presented Rony D’Cunha and his family with a bouquet and a memento on behalf of QAKCA. 

Stephen Sequeira, secretary of QAKCA gave a brief introduction about Rony’s career and achievements as a singer.
